Hannah Morrison is a Brisbane-based social advocate and writer.

Hailing from the North Coast of New South Wales, she spent 8 formative years living and then working in the desert of Central Australia.

At 18, the sole caseworker for homeless families in supported families in Alice Springs. And trained as a telephone counsellor. Later took a position as a Youth Worker for a substance misuse program operating on remote Indigenous communities.

In 2010 Hannah moved to Brisbane, hungry to participate in the arts scene. She penned a fortnightly column for popular street-magazine Rave, and contributed to online publication Pitch Zine. Blogging and styling photo-shoots under the alias 'One of Us', she worked as Store Manager for a major fashion retailer.

Hannah has since returned to community services, working in Disability Employment.

She is currently completing studies in Political Science and Journalism/Communications at the University of Queensland.
